Written by: Lisa Angeline, a professional Bikini, Lingerie, Glamour Model and Spokesmodel.

I have been modeling for a few years now and am having the time of my life!! I am grateful for so many things- the opportunities I’ve had to travel and meet some of the most incredible people, all the people that have supported and believed in me, and just being able to work in this industry is a dream come true! I realize that what we all have on the outside is just an outer shell- and I’ve been fortunate (thanks mom and dad…) But I invite you to stick around, look deeper and get to know the real me! There is a lot more to me than meets the eye!!

I grew up in New Mexico with two sisters- I’m the middle child. (Obviously.) We pretty much played in the dirt, did arts and crafts for days and played every sport you can think of, thanks to our dad. Mom and Dad are both educators, in every capacity of the word! Best childhood ever!!! I got really good grades, till I started messin up in High School- mostly for wearing skimpy clothes, like my skirt was too short. (they were strict!) I’ve never liked being covered up, and as you will see, I STILL DONT! Clothes suck!! Haha..

Okay skip to modeling….

My first modeling jobs were things like Bud girl, Corona girl, Ring girl for fights, I worked a few car shows where I met one of my best contacts back then who got me a shoot for Lowrider Magazine. I have since appeared in Lowrider many times, as well as many other auto mags. The exposure in the auto mags led me to spokesmodel contracts with wheel companies, tire companies, and a spot as a featured model with the NOPI Tour. We had a tv show and everything, it was freakin awesome!!! I made some of my best friends during that time… I miss it..

These days most of my work is in Las Vegas and LA. I do print shoots for lingerie catalogs, swimwear companies, clothing, etc- And I work lots of tradeshows in Vegas as a spokesmodel, or sometimes as part of marketing and sales teams, which is challenging and fun.

I also do lots of bikini contests and pagents and I LOVE IT!!! It’s kinda like my “sport” now.. lol! I have won many titles over the past few years, but some that I am most proud of include:

-Miss Hot 100 Las Vegas Winner 2009 (25,000 cash prize!!)

-Miss LAX 2008 Winner (50,000 cash!!! I know… crazy…)

-Miss Hawaiian Tropic California 2009

-Las Vegas’ Top Model 2008

-Miss Rio 2008

-Miss Hawaiian Tropic Latina 2007

Founded in early 1992, Bench Warmer created the female trading card category with its first release of 120 cards featuring beautiful women in their favorite sports garb. Although primitive by today's collecting standards, this premiere edition set featured outstanding photography printed on high quality card stock and spawned a plethora of copycat "Girl Card" competitors. In early 1994, Bench Warmer released its "Series 2" edition, following up with a more modern look and "Refractive Etch" insert cards which were produced from original photos of our Bench Warmer models
as they appeared in a special 1993 Sport Magazine Pull-Out. During this time Bench Warmer went on to produce other amazing products including calendars, posters, phone cards and finally a new 100 card packaged series in 1997. The 1997 Bench Warmer Series was a big hit with collectors and included major celebrities including the #1 Pin Up Model of all time, Pamela Anderson! Inserts included Pamela Anderson "Chromium" cards and the very rare "Refractor" Chromium Cards, which are highly sought after and extremely valuable today. Since these early days, numerous Bench Warmer Models have gone on to stardom after their Bench Warmer appearance including Brooke Burke, Cindy Margolis, Gena Lee Nolin, Kiana Tom, Charisma Carpenter, Nikki Ziering and Traci Bingham.

In 2002, for its tenth anniversary, Bench Warmer came back better than ever with a brand new 250 card set that can be collected over three series (Series #1, #2 and Final Update) This ground breaking release features all new exclusive photography and all new ground original and exciting insert sets. Keeping with this, the standards demanded by today's card collecting public, Bench Warmer 2002 contained Authentic Bikini Swatch cards and signed versions of the same card limited
to 25. Featured celebrities in this highly anticipated "Chase" set include Cindy Margolis, Gena Lee Nolin, Traci Bingham and Shauna Sand Lamas. There are also 20 different autograph cards found randomly inserted two per every display box and once again, two sets of Chromium cards: "All American" and "Hotties" which feature our hottest girls photographed in a special pyrotechnic studio in front of REAL FIRE. Series #2 and Final Update treated collectors to something really exciting: "Authentic Kiss Cards" which have an actual lip print from the depicted model.
In 2003, Bench Warmer produced four new Series including a higher end "Premium" product, "Bench Warmer GOLD Edition", for the more serious Bench Warmer collectors. With a Suggested retail price of $ 4.99 per pack, this exciting series featured the best girls of 2002 on a super premium metallic card stock using FX Technology. Each Gold Edition Box guaranteed the collector an Authentic Kiss Card and the series also featured a special "Hawaii FX" Series (Photographed on location in Hawaii) and new Bench Warmer Lenticular "MOVIE" cards that feature actual video footage from Bench Warmer photo shoots! The 2003 Series #2 was especially exciting because it
featured the famous "Miller Catfight Girls" Tanya Ballinger and Kitana Baker who were seen by tens of millions of people in the Miller Lite "Catfight" Commercial. Along with a new group of 100 gorgeous models, Bench Warmer 2003 editions featured Celebrities such as Fox Sports Commentator Lisa Dergan, Baywatch Star Angelica Bridges, Sandra Taylor, Alicia Rickter, L.A 102.75 KISS Radio Star Ellen K, The Tenison Twins, "Price is Right Barker Beauty" Claudia Jordan and Supermodel Carol Grow!

Many, many Bench Warmer Rare insert cards have sold for high dollars on Ebay (upwards of $ 500.00) and there is now brisk activity in all of our products on the popular auction marketplace. Bench Warmer dealers are reporting quick sell outs of our releases as our loyal core collecting audience grows and grows. 2004 will feature a new group of the most beautiful women as well as super celebrities Victoria Sivstedt and Jaime Bergman! Bench Warmer is proud to serve all of the collectors worldwide that love our product. We are especially excited to announce that as of January 1st, 2004 over 250 different gorgeous models have appeared on our products. [postlink]http://www.modelvanity.tv/2010/08/lady-gaga-press-conference-ces-2010.html[/postlink] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qph0lR2vYDYendofvid[starttext]Lady Gaga Press Conference Video Coverage by Model Vanity. Monster / Poloriod / CES, AIDS Awareness USA 2010. beat and Dr Dre. Interscope.

When Lady Gaga was a little girl, she would sing along on her mini plastic tape recorder to Michael Jackson and Cyndi Lauper hits and get twirled in the air in daddy’s arms to the sounds of the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. The precocious child would dance around the table at fancy Upper West Side restaurants using the breadsticks as a baton. And, she would innocently greet a new babysitter in nothing but her birthday suit.

It’s no wonder that little girl from a good Italian New York family, turned into the exhibitionist, multi-talented singer-songwriter with a flair for theatrics that she is today: Lady Gaga.

“I was always an entertainer. I was a ham as a little girl and I’m a ham today,” says Lady Gaga, 23, who made a name for herself on the Lower East Side club scene with the infectious dance-pop party song “Beautiful Dirty Rich,” and wild, theatrical, and often tongue-in-cheek “shock art” performances where Gaga – who designs and makes many of her stage outfits -- would strip down to her hand-crafted hot pants and bikini top, light cans of hairspray on fire, and strike a pose as a disco ball lowered from the ceiling to the orchestral sounds of A Clockwork Orange.

“I always loved rock and pop and theater. When I discovered Queen and David Bowie is when it really came together for me and I realized I could do all three,” says Gaga, who nicked her name from Queen’s song “Radio Gaga” and who cites rock star girlfriends, Peggy Bundy, and Donatella Versace as her fashion icons. “I look at those artists as icons in art. It’s not just about the music. It’s about the performance, the attitude, the look; it’s everything. And, that is where I live as an artist and that is what I want to accomplish.”

That goal might seem lofty, but consider the artist: Gaga is the girl who at age 4 learned piano by ear. By age 13, she had written her first piano ballad. At 14, she played open mike nights at clubs such as New York’s the Bitter End by night and was teased for her quirky, eccentric style by her Convent of the Sacred Heart School (the Manhattan private school Nicky and Paris Hilton attended) classmates by day. At age 17, she became was one of 20 kids in the world to get early admission to Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Signed by her 20th birthday and writing songs for other artists (such as the Pussycat Dolls, and has been asked to write for a series of Interscope artists) before her debut album was even released, Lady Gaga has earned the right to reach for the sky.

“My goal as an artist is to funnel a pop record to a world in a very interesting way,” says Gaga, who wrote all of her lyrics, all of her melodies, and played most of the synth work on her album, The Fame (Streamline/KonLive/Cherrytree/Interscope). “I almost want to trick people into hanging with something that is really cool with a pop song. It’s almost like the spoonful of sugar and I’m the medicine.”

On The Fame, it’s as if Gaga took two parts dance-pop, one part electro-pop, and one part rock with a splash of disco and burlesque and generously poured it into the figurative martini glasses of the world in an effort to get everyone drunk with her Fame. “The Fame is about how anyone can feel famous,” she explains. “Pop culture is art. It doesn’t make you cool to hate pop culture, so I embraced it and you hear it all over The Fame. But, it’s a sharable fame. I want to invite you all to the party. I want people to feel a part of this lifestyle.”

The CD’s opener and first single, “Just Dance,” gets the dance floor rocking with it’s “fun, L.A., celebratory vibe.” As for the equally catchy, “Boys Boys Boys,” Gaga doesn’t mind wearing her influences on her sleeve. “I wanted to write the female version of Motley Crue’s ‘Girls Girls Girls,’ but with my own twist. I wanted to write a pop song that rockers would like.”

“Beautiful Dirty Rich” sums up her time of self-discovery, living in the Lower East Side and dabbling in drugs and the party scene. “That time, and that song, was just me trying to figure things out,” says Gaga. “Once I grabbed the reigns of my artistry, I fell in love with that more than I did with the party life.” On first listen, “Paparazzi” might come off as a love song to cameras, and in all honestly, Gaga jokes “on one level it IS about wooing the paparazzi and wanting fame. But, it’s not to be taken completely seriously. It’s about everyone’s obsession with that idea. But, it’s also about wanting a guy to love you and the struggle of whether you can have success or love or both.”

Gaga shows her passion for love songs on such softer tracks as the Queen-influenced “Brown Eyes” and the sweet kiss-off break-up song “Nothing I can Say (eh eh).” “‘Brown Eyes’ is the most vulnerable song on the album,” she explains. “‘Eh Eh’ is my simple pop song about finding someone new and breaking up with the old boyfriend.”

For the new tour for this album, fans will be treated to a more polished version of what they saw (and loved) at her critically acclaimed Lollapalooza show in August 2007 and Winter Music Conference performance in March 2008. “This new show is the couture version of my handmade downtown performance of the past few years. It’s more fine-tuned, but some of my favorite elements to my past shows – the disco balls, hot pants, sequin, and stilettos – will still be there. Just more fierce and more of a conceptual show with a vision for pop performance art.”

It’s been a while since a new pop artist has made her way in the music industry the old-fashioned/grass roots way by paying her dues with seedy club gigs and self-promotion. This is one rising pop star who hasn’t been plucked from a model casting call, born into a famous family, won a reality TV singing contest, or emerged from a teen cable TV sitcom. “I did this the way you are supposed to. I played every club in New York City and I bombed in every club and then killed it in every club and I found myself as an artist. I learned how to survive as an artist, get real, and how to fail and then figure out who I was as singer and performer. And, I worked hard.”

Gaga adds with a wink in her eye, “And, now, I’m just trying to change the world one sequin at a time.”[endtext]

For D-Day’s comeback show, the weather in So. Cal was beautiful - a perfect setting for the outdoor event that was held on Sunday, October 18 at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino. It was literally the ultimate automotive festival as 13,000 people showed up to see more than 1600 custom cars, trucks, motorcycles and everything in between, more than 100 booths, and some amazing performances. Nick Cannon and Power 106’s DJ Felli Fel hosted all the day’s festivities.

More than 40 of the nation’s largest car clubs competed to take home prizes totaling more than $25,000, which made for some sweet eye candy every whereever you looked. Two of the biggest car clubs, Nokturnal and Swift, each had their own sections at the show. Whether you preferred monster trucks, exotic rides or tricked-customs, D-Day had something for everyone.

Besides the numerous cars were entertaining booths and exhibitions. The Monster Zone provided free samples of their energy beverages and featured the Kawasaki Street Bike Team, including Rickey Gadson, Jason Britton, Kane 'Insane' Friesen, and the Monster Girls! There were also live demonstrations of freestyle motocross where guests experienced some crazy and insane stunts by Kane “Insane” Friesen. The Famous Stars and Straps riders were also in action, as J-Beats, Warren Jamez, and Famous Crow were all on hand doing some of the sickest tricks and stunts. For those who love machines on two wheels, Motorpsycho magazine’s booth showcased some of the best customized Harley's we've ever seen.

West Coast Customs brought out some killer rides like their Rockstar GTO, an electrifying blue Bentley, and also showcased their new line of Wrench clothing. The RMD Group booth boasted Topo’s widebody Charger and owner Ralph Houlgin’s Audi R8 and classic Impala. Uniq’s booth featured some impressive exotics like a Bentley convertible, Aston Martin, Lambo and Ferrari. Lexani had a huge wheel display in their booth, while the TIS/Dropstars booth featured some of the 2010 products. Artist OG Abel was on hand at his clothing booth, where he worked on a live mural during the show. A new feature to the DUB Show was the Cosa Nostra Bullyz booth, which housed the finest American Bullies in the world, featuring the award-winning King Gotti.

The concert stage was rocking with performances by Pink Dollaz, Swag, Da Gogettas, Down AKA Kilo, Sen Dog, The Literates, Rydaznrtist, MC Magic, MC Magic, Ya Boy, Mack 10, WC, Dorrough, Paul Wall and Twista. The stage was hosted by 99.1 KGGI's team of radio personalities.

This was D-Day’s first return after seven years, and thanks to the great turnout, we’re planning to bring it back next year. Although it was the last DUB show for 2009, stay tuned for information on 2010’s shows by logging on to www.dubshowtour.com on the regular. We’d like to thank everyone who came out for D-Day and give a special shout out to all of our sponsors that made the 2009 tour such a succesful year: Monster Energy, Rockstar Games Midnight Club: Los Angeles, Pirelli Tires, Tag, Xbox 360, NASCAR, 2K Sports, Mobil 1, Kawasaki, MLB Authentic, Pioneer Pro DJ, Bud Light, TIS, Dropstars and D20 Wheels.
